Kim Olver here. I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you it’s another new year. Many of you are probably wondering what happened last year. When it began, you had great hopes and dreams for all you would accomplish and if you are like most of us, here it is a new year and you find yourself still plagued with many of the same issues you started last year with. Would you like to do it differently this year?

I know I used to make resolutions at the beginning of the year. I was going to lose weight, spend more time with my children, cook more meals at home, become more organized and start my own business. I made and broke so many promises to myself that I eventually stopped making plans. Years would go by and nothing would change. I was still struggling with the same issues. Sound familiar?

What is a Teleconference?
Teleconferences are the new and upcoming technology for brief conferences and self-development experiences! Learn and improve without leaving your home. Teleconferences are simply conference calls, ranging in size from 2 to 100 participants, where you can hear the teleconference leader share his/her expertise, interact with other individuals on the call and ask pertinent questions. When you register for a teleconference, you will receive an email with a phone number and an access code. At the appointed time, you will dial the number, punch in the access code provided and be instantly connected to a conference telephone line with the other participants. The only cost to you will be your cost of a long distance phone call. This works out to $3.00 for the whole hour if your long distance rate is $.05/minute or it's nothing if you use the free minutes allotted with your cell phone.
The advantages of teleconferences are that you don’t have to leave your home. You can remain anonymous---no one knows you. You don't have to speak if you don't want to. You can hang up if the call doesn’t interest you. You can multitask while in the privacy of your own home. You don’t have to worry about what you’re going to wear. I was waiting for my children to graduate, for there to be more time available in a day and for me to save enough money to start my own business. Well, my kids did graduate and I decided to stubbornly, doggedly move ahead even though my other criterion hadn’t yet materialized. I studied the greats. I read, I listened, I attended seminars and I synthesized the important points of all the information I gathered into our Goal Setting & Attainment Teleconference.
One of the things that sets our program apart from the rest is that we just don’t focus on goal setting. Most people know how to set goals. Where they may falter is in the actual attainment of them. This is the more specific element our system addresses. While the goals you set are important and goal setting is a critical skill, goal setting means nothing if you don’t have the follow through to actually attain the goals you set! Our program will teach you those skills, as well.
You can benefit from my three years of intense study. I will share all that I have learned and the changes I have made in my life. When I left my job in 2004, I had no web site or information products. Now, I have six web sites, thousands of loyal subscribers, have several information products, a thriving coaching business and I successfully published my first book! This year you can make and keep your New Year’s resolutions, too. Of course, it starts with a burning desire. I know this seems obvious but many of us start our goal setting with a less than passionate desire to accomplish what we are saying we will do. Unless, something is truly important, don’t waste your time listing it as a goal. Your lack of accomplishment will only serve to frustrate you later.
